The first Proastiakos line, linking central Athens with Athens International Airport, was inaugurated two weeks before the 2004 Olympic Games. In 2010, TrainOSE created the Proastiakos Patras service which runs on the old Athens-Patras line from Agios Andras to Agios Vassileos. They shall be served by Proastiakos suburban trains in the future, when electrification and adequate line capacity are available between Athens and SKA. Proastiakos was initially an independent subsidiary within the OSE group, but has since been merged with TrainOSE S.A. Railway KORINTHOS, PELOPONNISOS, GREECE. Currently[when?] Standard tickets (€1,40), valid on all urban buses and trains, are also valid on Proastiakos trains between Piraeus, SKA, Koropi and Magoula.
